Microfiber covers the full interior, including behind the snap, and a removable insert lies between the watch head and the bracelet. Nothing in the pouch touches the case, the crystal, or the caseback except lining.
An external snap closure holds the flap shut, so the pouch stays closed in a bag or a jacket pocket instead of working itself open. The leather was chosen to hold up and look good doing it.
The lining and insert use high-quality microfiber that lifts fingerprints and debris off the case while the watch sits inside.
