What Everest Has Coming In 2016

Editor’s note: for obvious reasons we don’t have a lot of pictures to show you today. We’ll get right on that though.

Have you been wondering about Everest’s coming attractions? By now, you’ve realized that, even though we offer rubber and leather straps for a number of Rolex sport models, there’s still a lot of ground to cover.

So with no further ado, here’s what you can expect in 2016.

We’ve been working on ways to expand past the Rolex sports watches and we’ve finally done it. We’ll have leather straps for the Datejust this year. And the Datejust II won’t be left out either. The big boy of the Datejust line will get outfitted in rubber.

Speaking of rubber, there will be a tidal wave of new rubber straps this year. Rolex’s big boys, the 42mm Explorer II and the 44mm Deepsea, will each get a set. You know, when these two are used for their intended draft horse purposes – spelunking, hiking in the back country, climbing and mountaineering, or serious SCUBA diving – a rubber strap is by far the best way to go.

And we’re not doe with the rubber yet. The venerable, some say “last of the best,” 14060 and 14060M will see rubber this year too. I can personally confirm this because the prototype pieces are on my desk as I type.

And 2016 is the year when Everest strikes out beyond the bounds of Rolex. This year we’ll bring you rubber straps for the Tudor Black Bay. With the watch itself coming in three distinct color variations, it’s ripe for the color varieties available in our rubber straps.

Finally, to facilitate your constant strap-changing, we’ll have two new spring bar tools joining the lineup in 2016. Now you’ll have no excuse not to dress your boy in the finest leather and rubber straps available!
