Celebrity Watch Spotlight - Kevin Hart
This week in the Everest Celebrity Spotlight, we take a look at America’s favorite funnyman - Kevin Hart. Hart’s style is effortless, and his taste in watches definitely proves this. From Audemars Piguet to Richard Mille, the comedic genius has something for every occasion - whether he be on stage performing, at an awards show, or at home with the family.
In a 2015 interview with Haute Time, Kevin stated that his collection started with a classic standard - the Rolex Submariner. He has also said that the collection he has grown to today is full of “the bonuses that come with life after hard work.” This shows, as his next watch purchase after his initial Sub - one that he still wears to this day - was a Stainless Steel Daytona. He has since expanded upon this and has been seen wearing a 50th Anniversary Rolex Cosmograph Daytona in Platinum with a blue dial, the Everose Daytona, a yellow gold Paul Newman, plus some classic models such as the stainless steel white dial, and yellow gold black dial.
On the AP front, Hart has a few different Royal Oaks to choose from. With a standard Stainless Steel, an enviable Rose Gold, and some more coveted ones like the QE II CUP 2016 Limited Edition, the Platinum Tourbillion Chronograph, and the Tourbillion Concept GMT, his collection is anything but small.
When it comes to Richard Mille, Kevin Hart knows what’s up - he has been seen wearing such beauties as the Richard Mille RM 11–01 “Roberto Mancini”, a white Richard Mille RM035 Gold Toro, and a Limited Edition (of only 50) of Richard Mille’s manually wound RM 035 Americas Rafael Nadal.
In his Patek Philippe collection, the two that stand out the most are his Celestials. Hart has both the 6102R and the 6104-001 Celestial models, and both are complete stunners. Both part of the Master Complication Collection - meaning they are handcrafted by one person from start to finish - the two watches ooze elegance, but definitely not simplicity. With a sky-chart of the Milky Way, phases and orbit of the Moon, the watches are a sight to see on their own - but these two are especially beautiful. The 6102R brags an 18k rose gold case, while the 6014-001 is encased in solid platinum with a factory-set bezel of baguette diamonds. The night sky would be jealous.
These watches may just be the tip of the iceberg for self-proclaimed watch-guy Kevin Hart’s collection, so make sure to keep up with him!
