Everest’s Tribute to the Rolex Hulk

As 2020 comes to a close, we find ourselves anticipating the new year and new releases. But, we also find ourselves saying au revoir to beloved models including (surprisingly) the Rolex Submariner Ceramic Hulk.

We have mixed feelings about saying goodbye to the Rolex Hulk this year. Anyone who owns the Rolex Hulk probably woke up to the news feeling like they won the lottery because Rolex models no longer in production skyrocket in price. Any Rolex is a good investment which we explore more here, but now that we’re not going to see anymore straight from the factory Hulks, we’re sure to see the coveted model even more precious.

On the flip side, there are some who have been on the waiting list for a Rolex Hulk for two years (one of our own Everest employees included), so waking up to the news didn’t get us excited but caused us incredible disappointment (i.e. in his words, he was pissed). That doesn’t mean he can’t find one secondhand, but when your heart is set on something, it's hard to turn away. We encourage you to take time to check out some tips on getting your hands on coveted models at MSRP from your Rolex dealer here

It's fascinating to take a closer look at the new releases. The new Rolex Submariner released reflects the Kermit combination versus the Hulk, but why is that? The Rolex Submariner Hulk was always a bit more popular. But with a ceramic Kermit entering the market, will the 50th anniversary Rolex grow in popularity. It seems quite strange Rolex would get rid of what people love more or does it?

What factors actually determine watch trends? Is it the availability? Is it the history behind the watch model? Is it the technical capabilities? What draws you in? What pulls you?

Regardless, Everest Bands wanted to say goodbye to the new Rolex Hulk models in style. Check out all these eight fabulous styles. Drop a comment below to share your thoughts on saying goodbye to the Rolex Hulk and vote for your favorite style!
