I’ve been absent for a few days and there’s a reason for it. In a word, Vegas.
Everybody in the watch world looks forward to SIHH and Basel, right? Well, yeah, but that’s not all. There’s the American equivalent. Maybe not as big as Basel or as focused as SIHH, but the JCK, Couture, and Antique Jewelry & Watch shows in Vegas every late spring / early summer are major events in everybody’s planner.
And I’m no different. So for the last few days I’ve been at the shows and for the next few days I’ll be talking about what I saw… and heard.
Like the Navy SEAL who jumps from 38,000 feet and waits until 1700 feet to open his chute – and why.
And the free Shelby Cobra 327 you get when you buy this watch.
And the reintroduction of Corum’s famous “Bubbles” Collection.
And the Tutima dress watch that’s happy to cross swords with the Patek Philippe Calatrava and Rolex Cellini.
Lucky for you, not everything that happens in Vegas stays in Vegas!
