Rolex is traditionally known for its Rolex Bracelets, especially the oyster bracelet that Everest Band integrates so easily with. There are quite a few Rolex leather watch bands that have been produced by Rolex for its watches. Rolex traditionally uses high-end leather crocodile materials, like the watch bands on the Daytona, Sky-Dweller and the Day-Date. The Rolex Daytona leather strap model is the most popular of the leather options offered by Rolex. Rolex at times has even offered straps with very exotic materials such as lizard. The lizard strap offered on the Rolex Daytona Ref: 116519 was actually a coral blue to match the coral face of that model of Daytona. The more traditional brown crocodile or black crocodile material is much more common. These leather materials look incredible with the Everose Gold (the lasting Rose Gold finish created and patented by Rolex) and ceramic dial. The Daytona also uses an integrated deployment buckle instead of a tang buckle. This feature mimics the oyster and jubilee bracelet's buckles to give the strap a traditional Rolex look.
The recent release of the Sky-Dweller also came with two options for watch bands. Again with almost every Rolex series there is the traditional bracelet option, but also a leather strap option is available with the Sky-Dweller. The Sky-Dweller comes with a chocolate brown crocodile watch band with matching stitching. The Buckle is a gorgeous Everose deployment buckle that integrates with the leather - similar to the Daytona one. The Day-Date has probably the most flamboyant options available for leather, when it comes to Rolex. They offer a green crocodile watch band that goes with the green face and gold case, a blue crocodile leather watch band that goes with the blue face and white gold case and a brown crocodile leather watch band that goes with brown face and Everose gold case. The use of color in the crocodile leather, as we said before has been done by Rolex, but with the Day-Date it has been done flawlessly. The Day-Date buckle is different then the custom deployment design of the Daytona and Sky-Dweller. Rolex refers to the Day-Date buckle as a "folding clasp" but really it is their version of a butterfly clasp. Again, Rolex creates a unique and breath taking creation with this design.
